In this session, which lasts 1 hour and 15 minutes, staff will learn how to:
- Explain what the term mental health means and what your role is in supporting pupils’ mental health
- Identify pupils who may be more susceptible to poor mental wellbeing
- Spot the signs of poor mental wellbeing
- Provide pupils with the right level of support with their mental health and wellbeing
- Manage their own mental wellbeing

- Dr Dominique Thompson, a multi-award winning GP, national mental health expert, TEDx speaker, author and educator. She has over 20 years of clinical experience, including as a police and expedition doctor, and as the director of service at the University of Bristol Students’ Health Service
