This assessment is fully up to date with Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE) 2023, as published by the DfE on 1 September 2023. We last updated our course on 23 August 2023 and reviewed it against KCSIE again on 1 September, but made no changes.

This is a short assessment covering the key points from part 1 of Keeping Children Safe in Education.

It includes 5 multiple-choice questions to test your understanding of the guidance, and 2 in-depth scenarios to check you know how to act in a safeguarding situation.

The pass mark is 100%. If you get an answer wrong, you'll get instant feedback and be able to try again until you get it right.

You'll be able to download a certificate when you've passed.
