Technical requirements for eLearning

Our online courses will work in most browsers, although our recommendation is to use Google Chrome where possible. Please make sure your browser and operating systems are as up to date as possible.

All of our courses can be taken on Windows computers and Macs as well as newer smartphones, iPads, and other tablet devices. However due to the wide range of devices now available, we are unable to provide full technical support for every device.

Though our courses have been carefully created to accommodate low bandwidth environments, we also recommend high-speed/high-bandwidth internet access where possible.

If you’re having trouble accessing one of our courses, or the course freezes, you can try one of the following steps :

On Windows computers/Mac:

  • Clear cookies by visiting: https://my.thekeysupport.com/clearcookies/
  • Clear your browser cache
  • Try using Google Chrome
  • If you’re connected to a VPN, try disconnecting, as this can have a negative effect on your internet connection

On phones/tablets/devices:

  • Clear cookies by visiting: https://my.thekeysupport.com/clearcookies/
  • Clear your device’s cache
  • Try closing down all non-essential apps to free up memory on your device
  • If you’re connected to a VPN, try disconnecting as this can have a negative effect on your internet connection
  • Ensure that your device has at least 10% of it’s internal memory free.

See how to do this on Android here : https://support.google.com/android/answer/7431795?hl=en-GB
Or if you're on an iPhone/iPad here : https://support.apple.com/en-gb/HT206504

If you’re having trouble with completing the course or accessing your certificate, you can contact our support team on 0800 061 4500 or trigger a LiveChat.
