This course provides all the safer-recruitment know-how you need to make sure your recruitment practice meets statutory requirements and does everything possible to protect children from risk of harm.

In approximately 2 hours, you'll learn about:

  • Why safer recruitment is so important
  • How to build safer recruitment into practice into:
    • The application stage
    • Pre-interview checks
    • The interview
    • Pre-appointment checks
  • The single central record
  • How to maintain a safer working environment

As you progress through the course, you'll be able to download resources that will help you with different stages of the recruitment process back in school.

You'll also receive a certificate to confirm you have completed the course.
