Preventing radicalisation
This 40-minute course provides essential training based on the Prevent duty guidance and KCSIE 2025. Use it to make sure staff know how to keep children safe from the threat of radicalisation, spot the signs, and tackle extremist views at school.
Who it's for
All staff, volunteers, contractors and governors/trustees
This course is fully up to date with :
- The Home Office's current Prevent duty guidance. This guidance came into effect on 31 December 2023
- Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE) 2025
This course covers everything your staff need to know about how to help keep children safe from the threat of radicalisation. This includes understanding how to apply the notice, check, share procedure:
- Notice early signs that may indicate vulnerability to radicalisation
- Check concerns appropriately
- Share the information by making a referral
You'll also learn how to respond safely to concerning statements or behaviours.

- Updated lessons on how to respond to incidents 'in the moment+'
- A new assessment
