All staff, volunteers and contractors
This course is fully up to date with Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE) 2024.
The final version of Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE) will be published by the DfE on 1 September. Although it's unlikely that much will change, there are 2 sections that are still under review (see our summary on The Key Leaders for more information). We'll update this eLearning with any changes once the final version is published.
If you completed this course before 29 July 2024, you'll need to select 'retake course' (see above) to view the new changes in line with KCSIE.
In around 25 to 28 minutes this course covers:
- The main risks to children online
- Avoiding victim blaming language and behaviour
- The signs to look and listen out for
- How to act if you suspect a child is being harmed online
Use it to:
- Equip all your staff and volunteers to help keep children safe online
- Meet your responsibility under Keeping Children Safe in Education to train your staff in online safety
