How you can use The Key Safeguarding throughout the year

  • September: Kick off the school year with our ready-to-deliver INSET pack

  • October: Check and evidence staff understanding post-INSET with our short, online assessment

  • January: Remind staff of their statutory safeguarding responsibilities and address specific issues with our spring-term safeguarding briefing

  • February: Be ready for recruitment season, with our eLearning course on safer recruitment in education

  • April: Use our summer-term briefing to remind staff of any changes to requirements and how to keep all pupils safe this term

Any time: Induct new staff joining mid-year with our 90-minute safeguarding essentials eLearning course. This course is also perfect for staff in need of a refresher post-INSET
