Download this pack to teach an online safety lesson to pupils about how they can spot risks online, and how they can best avoid putting themselves at risk.

We've reviewed this briefing in light of the Online Safety Act 2023.

Pupils will get a chance to learn:

  • What's valuable and fun about the internet
  • How being online can be dangerous
  • How to identify dangerous situations
  • What to do and who to speak to if they see something that makes them uncomfortable while they're online

This pack includes lesson presentations for Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, a printable activity sheet for each Key Stage for pupils to complete during the lesson, and delivery notes to help teachers prepare for and deliver the lesson.

Please note: the activity sheet may not appear in full colour in Word, but will be in full colour when printed.
