Use our pre-training assessments to identify gaps in staff knowledge before training!

As a DSL, you can send a link to all staff who can self-assess their confidence across a handful of key areas. Results are then automatically summarised on your school’s training dashboard, identifying opportunities for further training and support.

Role:
How confident are you about your legal duty to prevent pupils being drawn into terrorism?
How confident are you that you would contact your DSL should you have any concerns?
How confident are you in identifying the four different types of abuse (including being able to identify common physical and behavioural indicators)?
How confident are you in your knowledge and understanding of the specific safeguarding issues listed in ‘Keeping Children Safe in Education’?
How confident are you applying your school’s child protection policy?
How confident are you reporting a concern following your school’s guidelines?
How confident are you that you would respond correctly if you think a child is in immediate danger or at risk of harm?
How confident are you that you would know what to do should you have any concerns about poor or unsafe safeguarding practice at your school?
If a child makes a disclosure to you, how confident are you that you understand what you can say or do whilst the child is speaking ?
How confident are you about correctly recording the disclosure following your school’s procedures and what you should include?
