Online safety: the essentials

This course is fully up to date with Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE) 2023, as published by the DfE on 1 September 2023. We last updated our course on 30 August 2023 and reviewed it against KCSIE again on 1 September, but made no changes.

The government's non-statutory guidance on responding to the sharing of nude and semi-nude imagery was updated in March 2024. We'll update this eLearning ready for September. In the meantime, take a look at our summary of changes to the guidance on The Key Leaders.
